St. Martin High becomes member of Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce

Today, the Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed St. Martin High School as a member of their organization with a ribbon cutting and tour of the school.
High School Senior Trilby Taylor came forward with the idea of wanting to join the chamber to help make her school known and become more involved with the community. During the process she recruited classmates to help with fundraisers such as car washes, bake sales, and raffles, and raised over eight hundred dollars.
Taylor tells News 25 she sees that joining the chamber will benefit them in the long run. “Well the chamber interested me because it just showed me opportunities that could come later in life for not only me, but for my fellow students or anyone else involved and whether that’s college, work, whatever, that we’re looking forward to in the future, just help.”
Taylor says she can’t wait to start attending chamber events and making St. Martin High School’s culture known to the community.
