St. Joseph Hospice hosting shrimp boil to help Hurricane Sally victims

The St. Joseph Hospice in Gulfport will host a shrimp boil this Friday for Hurricane Sally victims.

To help the victims in Alabama impacted by Hurricane Sally, the staff of St. Joseph Hospice put together a shrimp boil to fund raise for the relief efforts.

Each plate will be $10 and have shrimp, corn, and potatoes. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go straight to Sally victims.

The event will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  St. Joseph Hospice Community Outreach Director Mark Crowson said, “You know, we just want people to come out and support this and support the people in South Alabama. I know they will appreciate it, you know, one thing about people in Mississippi, we care about one another, we always have and that’s the great thing about being in Mississippi.”

The event will take place at 1240 Broad Avenue in Gulfport.
