The Spring Arts Festival: Herb, Garden, and Art

Spring is in the air this weekend in Ocean Springs for the Springs Art Festival.

On tap for the weekend are all things herb, garden, and art.

City officials are putting the final touches on Downtown Ocean Springs. You can check it out Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday, the festival will open again at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.

City officials say you won’t want to miss this perfect way to bring in spring. Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce Director Cynthia Sutton said, “We’re going to have 160 artists, crafts, food, and plant vendors out here in Downtown Ocean Springs. They are from all over the southeast. This is kind of the start of the spring season on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This is a great event to come out and check out our vendors and shop at our local shops right here on this beautiful weekend.”

Certain streets will be closed to thru traffic from 5 a.m. on Saturday through 7 p.m. Sunday. The closures include Washington Avenue from the railroad tracks to Porter Avenue, Government Street from Washington to Bellande, and Robinson Street from Cash Alley to Church Street.
