Spring Art Festival in Ocean Springs celebrating 30 years this weekend
This year, the City of Ocean Springs is celebrating 30 years of the Spring Arts Festival.
More than 200 vendors started setting up to prepare for the two-day event, which is free and family-friendly.
They will be selling anything you can imagine, plants, antiques, and artwork. There will be a food court set up near Miners Toy Shop.
Holding festivals like these helps draw attention to the city’s businesses. Ocean Springs Chamber Executive Director Cynthia Sutton said, “We’re excited. We’ve turned downtown into a spring arts festival, which brings an economic impact to our community. It helps our local businesses sustain during this spring time, and it’s just a fun way to celebrate spring.”
The festival is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
