Splash pads opening in Gulfport

Kids are off to a great start to the summer with the opening of three different splash pads in Gulfport.

Jones Park, Gaston Point Park and Westside Park all have splash pads available for everyone to enjoy. The splash pads are free and open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. They’ll remain open for the entire summer.

On hot days like today, children can go to any of these locations to cool off and possibly meet new friends.  Chris Vignes with the City of Gulfport said, “It’s just a great way for families to get out. It’s free. It’s fun. It’s a great place for kids to enjoy their families. I’m glad we are open for the season and everybody’s welcome.”

The Francis Collins Pool in Gulfport is also open to the public. There is a one dollar entry fee.
