Southern Miss alum Dylan Reda recovering from COVID-19
The Coronavirus has shown no bias in terms of impacting anyone, anywhere, anytime, the same slogan embraced by linebacker Dylan Reda during his time at Southern Miss.
According to the Clarion Ledger, the former Golden Eagle tested positive for COVID-19 last month and was hospitalized for two days in Florida.
He has since recovered, but his situation is just starting to make national waves.
Today, the Washington Post picked up the story which became controversial over his decision to fly home from the Czech Republic where he plays professional football for the Prague Lions.
On his way back, Reda reportedly flew threw London, Dallas, and Orlando after feeling symptoms from the virus.
He was only diagnosed upon his return to the states and says he took the necessary precautions during quarantine while he made a full recovery.
Reda was a starting linebacker at USM during his junior and senior seasons prior to his graduation in 2013.
