Southern Living ranks Ocean Springs, Bay St. Louis as best small towns

Southern Living has named two Coast towns to its list of the top 50 Best Small Towns in the South.

Ocean Springs checked in at number 18. Southern Living said the thriving arts community and entertainment district makes Ocean Springs a great place to live.

Bay St. Louis was ranked number 47 by Southern Living, which said the city’s funky, artsy feel and beach vibe make it a tried-and-true coastal town.

Oxford was number 22 and Laurel was number 25 to round out the Mississippi towns.

St. Augustine, Florida was ranked number one.
