Biloxi Fire Department honors fallen firefighters at memorial service

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Biloxi Fire Department is honoring three fallen firefighters, including two who lost their lives in the line of duty 40 years.

Anthony Rousseau, Kurt Jacquet, and Karl Ohr were remembered during a memorial service Tuesday at the department’s central station.

The ceremony marked four decades since Jacquet and Ohr made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their community.

This years’ service also marked the first time the department gathered at its new memorial site, featuring three bells, one for each fallen firefighter.
