Southeastern Grocers gives back millions to local communities

Southeastern Grocers, Inc., the parent company of Winn-Dixie grocery stores, has given more than $8.25 million back to local communities this year to support neighbors in need.

The grocer has continued its dedication to the communities it serves by partnering with more than 4,700 local organizations throughout the southeast, hosting more than 30 mobile food pantries and providing more than 10 million meals to help fight hunger.

The grocer has celebrated health care professionals, first responders, nurses, and teachers alongside the community for their continued resilience and heroic work on the frontline of the pandemic.

Additionally, the grocer and its customers generously rounded up spare change during a countrywide change shortage to benefit charitable organizations throughout the southeast.
