South Regional Business Outreach

Today, dozens of small businesses across the Coast rubbed elbows with top executives at MGM International’s southern regional business outreach at the Beau Rivage.
These companies were able to hear from top executives with MGM, including leaders with the Beau Rivage and Gold Strike Casino in Tunica. The idea is for the Beau to network with small, diverse companies and teach them supplier expectations in hopes of spurring a partnership.
Small companies with an existing partnership with the Beau say you can sum up how much the Beau has meant to their business in one word. Todd Joachim with Corso INC. said, “Huge. As you can imagine, they’re a very large customer of ours. They’re one of the largest and it’s been very important financially and also philanthropically.”
Beau Rivage General Manager Marcus Glover said, “We want to make sure our vendors and potential partners understand how to get engaged. So being smaller in nature and not having the tentacles or outreach that some of the larger businesses have, we want to provide that opportunity for companies on how to come in and get in on the ground level.”
Businesses attending today’s outreach provide numerous products like hotel supplies, food and beverages and environmentally-sustainable products.
