South Mississippi Summer Fair ends

An annual summer event on the Coast just ended its ten day run, but not before one more day of fun was had.

Families and friends gathered at the Coast Coliseum to enjoy dozens of rides, booths, and even pig races at the South Mississippi Summer Fair.

The fair featured a Father’s Day special as well with $15 unlimited ride wristbands. Katie Hensarling with the Mississippi Coast Coliseum said, “It was a hit this year. We had the train museum from Gulfport come in this year, the aquarium from Gulfport, more rides than ever. We had the lion and tigers show, the illusionist, so it’s been a great year.”

The fair will return for its 34th year next summer.
