Some Shelters Set to Reopen for Those Seeking Refuge from the Cold in South Mississippi
Some shelters in South Mississippi plan to reopen tonight. The cold weather shelter run by the Hancock County EMA and Old Spanish Trail Baptist Church will open again tonight from 6 pm to 8 am tomorrow morning. It’s located off Highway 90 in Bay St. Louis. The Salvation Army opened two cold weather shelters.
The D’Iberville Cold Weather Shelter located on Auto Mall Parkway will open again tonight at 5 pm to 7:30 am tomorrow morning for those trying to escape the frigid temperatures here in South Mississippi.
