Small Plane Crashed on Runway at Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport
Today, tragedy was narrowly averted after a small plane crashed on the runway at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.
The Cessna 172 single engine plane’s nose landing gear failed while attempting to land. The plane’s failed landing happed about 4:30 this afternoon on the main runway. There was only one pilot in the plane and no injuries were reported.
The main runway was closed after the crash, but re-opened at 6 p.m.
