Sixth Annual Coast 200 Dinner

The IP Casino has now donated a total of $1.5 million to the Bacot McCarty Foundation.
The Bacot-McCarty Foundation raises money for education and youth art programs all along the Coast. Members celebrated another strong year of fundraising and philanthropy during the sixth annual Coast 200 Dinner at the IP Casino. More than 200 people attended the event. Children from Lynn Meadows, Rock-You-Too and other organizations featured during tonight’s program were in attendance as well.
Executive Director Todd Trenchard says the dinner is a way to celebrate the success of giving back to the community. “We call this the Coast Top 200 Community Leaders but everybody in here is a community leader. We include even the spouses in that number. This is just a celebration of giving back and it’s become a sort of must attend event each year.”
Trenchard also tells News 25 the IP has always been a generous supporter over the years. The Bacot- McCarty Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year is known as the Jolly McCarty Memorial Golf Classic.
