Singing River Gulfport hosted an Environmental Services Job Fair

Earlier today, Singing River Health System held a job fair for people interested in working in a hospital setting.

A range of full and part-time floor care specialists, as well as service aide positions, were open for applications at Singing River Gulfport. The event even included on the spot job offerings and processing in some cases.

Singing River officials say these jobs play critical roles in hospital operations and sanitizing important areas. System Director of Environmental Services Terence Holland said, “The biggest thing in the hospital is infection control, so we have to make sure we have the staff available to clean the OR’s, to clean the ER and areas like that.”

Singing River plans to host another job fair on June 1^st at the Win Job Center in Gulfport.
