Signs pointing to adventure in downtown Biloxi

If you’re looking for a sign that you should take a stroll or maybe enjoy a ride on a Zagster bike around Biloxi’s Main Street District, it’s finally here.
The Biloxi Main Street Organization is putting up signs throughout the city that will lead tourists to many of the best kept secrets in the city. Any time tourists are in town to catch the Shuckers or make a stop at the casinos, these signs will help to bring them into Biloxi’s historic downtown area where they can see everything the city has to offer. Pat Wylie with Biloxi Main Street said, “It uses mobile devices. People can scan a QR code that literally gives a Google walking map to where we are trying to direct them. Our desire is to ultimately do historically appropriate signs that do the same thing, but until we get to the point what this system does is answers those questions right now for the thousands of visitors in our downtown area.”
You’ll find these signs in Biloxi along sidewalks in the areas between Porter Avenue and Belman Avenue.
