Sheriff to Speak with Bay St. Louis City Council

The Bay St. Louis City Council is set to meet this afternoon. At the top of their agenda is a discussion between Hancock County Sheriff Ricky Adam and the Bay St. Louis Police Department.
Previous Bay St. Louis Police Chief Mike De Nardo died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, sending shock waves through the community over a month ago.
Temporary control of the police department was turned over to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department. Captain Wes Mayley is currently acting as police chief.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department are currently investigating the incident.
