Sentenced for drug possession

Today a Gulfport man was sentenced for possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
Travis Madden was ordered to serve 48 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release. Madden was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine.
As part of an ongoing criminal investigation, a search warrant was issued at Madden’s residence in 2017. Gulfport police discovered 70 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of cocaine base, two firearms, and ammunition.
Madden pled guilty to the federal charge.
