Sentenced to 40 years for manslaughter in connection with Pass Parade shooting
A third defendant pled guilty and was sentenced to 40 years in prison in connection with the 2016 Pass Christian Parade shooting.
Twenty-four year-old Malcom Dedeaux pled guilty to two counts of manslaughter Monday afternoon at the Harrison County Courthouse.
Malcom Dedeaux, Donald Dedeaux, Jermaine Ratcliff, and Jessie Lee Williams Jr. were indicted for the death of two bystanders, Carlos Bates and Isaiah Majors, along with the aggravated assault of three others when gunfire erupted after the Pass Christian Mardi Gras parade on February 7, 2016.
The sole remaining defendant, Donald Dedeaux, will be scheduled for trial at the beginning of 2018.
