Sentenced to 27 years for murder
After changing his mind this morning, a Gulfport man has pled guilty to second degree murder and sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison.
Thirty-six year-old Willie Cenales was sentenced today to 27 years in prison without the possibility of parole after beating and strangling 52-year-old Tammy Brown to death in March 2017.
Cenales admitted during his plea to strangling Brown and that he left her body in her apartment without calling authorities.
Her body was discovered the next morning by her roommate.
