Senior’s Halloween Bash

You’re never too old to have a little Halloween fun. A group of seniors were putting the “boo” in boogie at a Halloween costume party in D’Iberville today. There was dancing, food, drinks and a costume contest that went on inside the civic center.
This is the Red Barnett Senior Center’s third annual Halloween Bash. Every year they have a Halloween dance.
News 25 caught up with some of the dancers before they took the stage. They have been practicing their dance routine for months. Lynn Seymour is dancing in the show. She said, “You do get scared, you do get nervous, but it’s like once you start that’s it. The nerves are gone and you just get up there and do it. If you mess up, who cares? We’re old.”
Seniors at the Red Barnett Center say the center is a great place for seniors that like to stay active. They host a social with free food and entertainment every month.
