Senator Wicker’s thoughts on Election Day

As votes are pouring in across the state in today’s elections, we had the chance to speak to one familiar candidate in the Senate primary.

Senator Roger Wicker in Washington, D.C. gives us his thoughts on today’s election as he faces off against Richard Boyanton. “We’re just doing everything we can to encourage people to vote. As expected in these primary elections, voter turnout is very, very low. Every vote counts and at the end of the day, I’m hopeful to emerge with a win, but you never know so we are doing everything we can to encourage people to get out and exercise their right.”
