Second annual Babylympics returns to Biloxi

The cutest competition on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is coming back to Biloxi for the second annual Babylympics at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.

On Saturday, kids ages six months to three years old will compete for the gold and titles like strongest, fastest, funniest, and cutest baby of the Gulf Coast. There’s even a competition that puts dad to the test changing diapers.

The event is put on by 94.5 WJZD and the Salvation Army. Organizers say anyone is welcome to come cheer on the littlest champions in our community. JZ 94.5 Station Manager Amelia Cooper said, “We’ve got the toddle waddle where they’re just starting to learn how to walk and the moms are coaching them like ‘come on, come on’ with the keys and everything to get them to the finish line first and it’s really just really a great family event. So, many of the families will come out with like team baby Tyler t-shirts. So, the whole family comes out and supports the baby and it’s really just a lot of fun.”

The fun starts at 2 p.m. Saturday and goes to 6 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Biloxi.
