Searching for Truck Connected to Jackson County Capital Murder

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department needs the public’s assistance.
They’re trying to get more information on a vehicle that picked up a black male wearing a backpack from the Kangaroo Store at Washington and Seaman in St. Martin on Saturday night, July 23rd between 9 and 9:30. Police believe the driver of that truck may have given a murder suspect a ride to Keesler Air Force Base.
Twenty-year-old Dwanya Hickerson is being held on capital murder charges in the death of 25-year-old Dee Whigham.
