Search for Suspects in Pascagoula Attack

No arrests have been made in the attack that happened Friday afternoon in the Dollar Tree parking lot. Authorities say the victim says he was pistol whipped by two black males before being shot in the arm.
Today, investigators are still working to develop the suspects in this crime. Lieutenant Doug Adams says the victim is an Ocean Springs resident and he does not believe this was just a random act of violence. “It’s kind of hard to believe that you’re just walking down the sidewalk and all a sudden two car loads of folks pull up and attack you for no reason. There’s always some underlying circumstances and things that victims sometimes do not want to come forth and tell. There’s people out there that know why this actually happened.”
Adams says Pascagoula police are still working to obtain surveillance footage to develop the suspects. In the meantime, if you have any information on this incident, please call the Pascagoula Police Department at 228-762-2211.
