Search Expands for Missing Man

The hunt for the Wiggins man who went missing from Muddy Joe’s RV Park in the Kiln expands to a 50 people search.
Saturday night around 9:30 was the last time friends and family had seen 34-year-old Brody Brown. He was staying at Muddy Joe’s with friends for a concert when he left to go use the bathroom and never returned.
Today, the search for Brown has expanded. Authorities are trying different techniques, like dogs and horses. Chief Deputy Don Bass of Hancock County tells News 25 they are using sonar technology to comb the lake at the campground and have crews looking all throughout the woods nearby. “We’re doing everything in our powers to just search the area and assume maybe Mr. Brown just got lost. You know, it was night time out here and it’s a pretty desolate area and there’s a lot of campgrounds around here, I’m sure you could easily get off path around here.”
Brown was with his wife and best friend at the time of his disappearance. If anyone has any information, please call the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department at 228-466-6900.
