Seabee killed at Keesler Air Force Base

The Seabee killed in the shooting at Keesler Air Force Base has been identified.

Grace Kayla Davis-Marcheschi has died. The shooting happened early Saturday morning at military housing belonging to Keesler Air Force Base.

Marcheschi was assigned to Naval Construction Battalion 133 and was temporarily assigned to the NCBC Security Office as an augmentee to the security force.

Officials say she began her career at NCBC as a student in 2017 and has been assigned to NMCB 133 since January.

As of now, the Naval Criminal Investigation Service is investigating the incident.
