Scholarship for Harrison County Employees

One law firm on the Coast is giving back to the people it serves.
Boyce Holleman and Associates has created a scholarship to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for Harrison County employees and their dependents. Harrison County Board of Supervisors attorney Tim Holleman says the scholarship was created in honor of his father.
Funds for the scholarship are provided from payment the firm received for representing the board in litigation against B.P. “You have to have a 2.5 GPA or higher and an ACT of 21 or higher,” said Holleman, “And be a county employee for five years or more or be a dependent of a county employee of five years or more. We wanted to make sure the scholarship was available to all walks of county employees and their dependents.”
If you or your dependents are interested in applying, go to www.mgccc.edu/future-students. The deadline is September 30th.
