Scarlet Pearl’s Fashion Show Fundraiser Rounds up Nearly $30,000 in Fight Against Breast Cancer

The Scarlet Pearl Casino’s “Pink Pearls to Save the Girls” annual fundraiser in the fight against breast cancer was another hit – thanks to the D’Iberville casino, local businesses, the community, and the brave local models who rocked the fashion runway again this year, and the final numbers are in!

This year’s 4th Annual Pink Pearls to Save the Girls Fashion Show fundraiser rounded up nearly $30,000 to help in the fight against breast cancer. Scarlet Pearl Casino’s Director of Promotions, Events, and Entertainment, Vicki Haskins, presented the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Memphis and Mid-South Mississippi a check for $27,370 this week. All proceeds from the fundraiser, put on by the Scarlet Pearl and Dillard’s at Edgewater Mall, went to the local non-profit.

Local models who are battling, or whose lives have been affected by breast cancer, put their best foot forward, rocking the latest fashions from Dillard’s. The owners of the Scarlet Pearl Casino attended this year’s event back in October, and for the third year in a row, News 25’s Toni Miles emceed the event.
