SBA Loans Available for South Ms. Counties Hit by May Flooding

The SBA is offering disaster assistance to businesses and residents of Mississippi who were affected by flash flooding back in May. Several South Mississippi counties hit by the flash flooding on May 8th and 9th are eligible to apply for assistance.

Those counties include Stone, Harrison, Jackson, Hancock, George, Forrest, Pearl River and Perry counties.

If you’d like to apply, head over to the New Hope Road Shelter, located at 1084 New Hope Road, in Wiggins Mississippi on Tuesday December 3rd. SBA customer service representatives will be available at this disaster loan outreach center from 11 am to 1 pm to answer questions about the disaster loan program and to help residents and business owners complete their applications. Businesses and private nonprofit organizations can borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace disaster damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets.
