Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign kicks off on Saturday
The Salvation Army is kicking off the Christmas season this Saturday with their annual Red Kettle Campaign.
It will be held at the Edgewater Mall by J.C. Penny entrance at 2 p.m. Their will be a parade of superheroes that will conclude with a social distanced photo-op.
The parade will be led by the Red Kettle mascot and the superheroes followed by any children who would like to join.
Children are encouraged to wear superhero costumes or a costume of their choice.
A donation kettle will be available at the event. The Salvation Army also needs paid or volunteer bell ringers to help raise funds at Red Kettle sites this year.
