Salvation Army Jacket And Shoe Giveaway

With cold temperatures on the way beginning tonight, the Salvation Army continues to “Do the most good” by keeping residents warm. Those in need filed through into the command center in Gulfport Thursday morning to get a free jacket, shoes, hats and gloves to adults and children. Edgewater cleaners and the Salvation Army partnered to provide the supplies to those in need. Tonight, the Salvation Army will convert the same room they used to give away coats…into their cold weather shelter. The shelter will be open tonight through Sunday night.
