Sale benefiting Puerto Rico at Trinity United Methodist Church

Get your hands on some great deals all while helping the victims still reeling from the devastation in Puerto Rico.
Tomorrow and Saturday, you can find everything from home décor, toys and gowns to sports and leisure items and more in a giant garage sale at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport. The church is sending a group on a mission trip to help Puerto Rico victims in June.
All proceeds from the garage sale will go towards getting that team of 23 to Puerto Rico to help with recovery efforts. Chairperson of Missions Nancy Pittman said, “Trinity, during Katrina, for over two years, was a hub for groups that came in all over the country, spent the night here and helped our community recovery. We are paying it forward with Puerto Rico. We have some nurses. We have a doctor. We have a man whose business is in construction. We have teachers. So, we are going with the idea we will be helping them in all of those areas.”
The garage sale will be held Friday and Saturday in the Family Life Center at Trinity Church from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
