Saints stars sound off on NFL schedule change
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL is expected to expand its regular season schedule to seventeen games.
And the New Orleans Saints aren’t too happy about it. Or at least star Running Back Alvin Kamara hasn’t been shy about voicing his opinion on Twitter.
Now, this news isn’t necessarily groundbreaking with the extra game having been approved in the most recent collective bargaining agreement last March.
However, the league is expected to make the official announcement this week with no word on whether or not the extra week will eliminate a pre-season game.
This would be the first schedule adjustment in the NFL since the current 16 week slate was adopted in 1978, by far the longest stretch without a change in NFL history.
