Saints Hope for Big Win Sunday Against the Falcons

First place in the underwhelming NFC South could be on the line Sunday when the Atlanta Falcons travel to the Superdome to face the New Orleans Saints.

Right now, the 6-8 Saints have a one game lead over the 5-9 Falcons, who are in third place behind the 5-8-1 Carolina Panthers by just a few percentage points. It’s a very tight race heading into the last two weeks of the season, and Saints Head Coach, Sean Payton, and Quarterback Drew Brees both know just how important a win Sunday would be for the Saints.

Brees says, "This is at the beginning of the season what you hoped for, right, to have the opportunity to play for something significant this time of year. That’s what we have a chance to do and it’s against a divisional opponent, a very good divisional opponent, one of which I know the fans enjoy this rivalry. So it don’t get any better than this."
