Ryan’s “Start of Hurricane Season” Forecast
Today is the official start of Hurricane season and it looks like a new area of potential development is forming in the Gulf. Right now there is only a 20% chance of this system becoming tropical within the next 6 days, but because of it’s location we will certainly be watching it for you and releasing updates on the situation. Local weather is a bit more consistent right now, with hot and humid days and cooler, humid nights. We’ll see increasing cloud cover in the coming days as a weakening low pressure system will begin pushing into the SE near the beginning of the weekend, but a significant severe weather threat is not expected. Otherwise, expect a a small chance of afternoon showers tomorrow, with our friends heat and humidity sticking around as well.
