Ryan’s “Cold Monday” Forecast

It’s going to be another night below freezing for the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Waterfront areas will drop to near 30 under mostly clear skies, allowing for nearly maximum cooling, while inland areas will drop as low as 24 (Lucedale). Lack of cloud cover will continue into tomorrow, allowing our high to rise into the upper 50s across the coast. Tomorrow (Tuesday) night will be another cold one, but just barely above freezing for water adjacent areas, while the inland counties will range from the upper 20s to the low 30s. A Gulf low will begin forming off of the East coast of Texas late Wednesday, and will bring the chance of rain to the area Thursday through Friday, as well as a large increase in cloud cover. Weekend will be warmer, before dropping to seasonal temps by the start of next week.
