Rosary Rally and Mass for Life at the Cathedral of the Nativity BVM

A Rosary Rally and Mass for Life was held Sunday evening at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Normally they host a March for Life as a way to protest the practice and legality of abortion. However, out of concern for safety it was canceled.

Instead, they prayed and had multiple youth across the Coast give readings.

They even had a local teen that had been to the March for Life in Washington D.C. as a speaker. While this year, there will be no marching, she still believes it is important that they are doing something for the movement. Speaker Sara Hollingsworth said, “And even if we’re not able to march, people will get to have an experience with pro-life movements to help people understand why it’s the right thing to be and the right thing to do.”

The Nativity BVM had multiple safety precautions in place for parishioners. The service was also streamed on Facebook for those that could not attend.
