Robinwood Baptist Church held crawfish boil honoring first responders
What better way to honor our first responders than with free crawfish?
The men’s Sunday class as well as church members at Robinwood Baptist Church decided to get together and host a crawfish boil for first responders.
First responders ate for free with ID and cold drinks were served as well. Others were also welcome to come and grab a plate of food for $5 and were encouraged to enter in a drawing for a door prize.
Church member Kurt Alexander tells News 25 what the crawfish boil was all about. “We’ve had several fallen officers and firefighters throughout the state of Mississippi this year. We felt like this would be just a good event to hopefully raise some money to donate to some charities that help the families of those officers or first responders.”
Alexander says the church will hopefully be hosting other community outreach events in the future.
