Ribbon cutting for Eagle Point Park in Woolmarket
An exciting new addition is coming for the residents of Woolmarket.
This afternoon, the city hosted a ribbon cutting for the new Eagle Point Park. This fun-filled park will include a walking track, basketball and pickleball courts, a playground, pavilion, and a sports field for several different types of games and activities.
Eagle Point Park was made possible with $415,000 in state and local funds. Councilman Nathan Barrett said, “It was truly a team effort and it took something that was unsightly, an eyesore in the community and now you have a beautiful park, and it’s something that the Woolmarket community can be proud of.”
You can join in the fun at 10519 Pin Oak Drive.
