The return of Southern Miss Baseball: fans relive championship Sunday

Opening day baseball at Southern Miss is always good within the friendly confines of Pete Taylor Park, but it’s even better as the reigning conference champs. Especially for the fans in the Right Field Roost who still remember that championship Sunday like it was yesterday.
If the ballpark looked a little crowded today, well that’s because it was. Needless to say, USM led the league in attendance in 2016.
