Restaurant Month Logo Unveiled

September is officially “Restaurant Month.”
The coast’s chapter of Mississippi Hospitality and Restaurant Recreation Association is partnering with local dining establishments to provide community members with an opportunity to enjoy cuisine they might normally miss out on at a fraction of the price. This will also help raise money for a good cause.
Today, the logo was unveiled, but “Restaurant Month” is still in developmental stages. Once the event is underway, all proceeds will be split 50/50 between Extra Table and Climb CDC. MHRA Gulf Coast Chapter President John Boyle said, “In the month of September, we have a challenging time when it comes to sales and guest counts. So, we are obviously looking at ways to create some energy and excitement and get more guests to visit our restaurants. We are aware of some cities doing restaurant week and thought it was important to find out how we can expand that.”
Just a few of the restaurants slated to participate so far are the Beau’s Jia Asian and Stalla Italian kitchens, as well as BR Prime Steakhouse.
