Residents gather to ‘park and pray’ for healthcare workers

To say a special thank you to the brave men and women working around the clocks saving lives in this pandemic, Action Church, along with 22 other local churches, invited residents throughout the Coast to gather at Ocean Springs Hospital to ‘park and pray.’

Those in attendance say during these trying times it’s important to remind those on the front line how thankful we are to have them. Ocean Springs Resident Nancy Lemon said “We know exactly how hard they are working and what they’re doing. So, we want to let them know that we support them and that we love them, and that we care.”

Gautier Resident Brenda Freeman said, “I’m so proud of them and i just think that they are the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The group also gathered at Singing River Hospital to pray over those healthcare professionals as well.
