Renaissance the Runway

The third annual Renaissance the Runway was a night full of fashion and fun and it was all for a good cause.

Sixty-five different local models and model citizens hit the runway strutting some of the Gulf Coast’s finest. This fashion fundraising event, benefiting the Bacot McCarty Foundation, provides opportunities for underprivileged youth in our area through education and the arts.

It’s also a way to showcase the latest coastal fashions from 24 different local boutiques. News 25’s Taylor Rubach and Kristen Durand took the stage alongside dozens of other familiar faces from the Coast.

Many huge names of the Coast sponsored this event like the IP Casino and South Mississippi Living Magazine. Bacot McCarty Foundation board member Michael Sunderman said, “I can tell you first hand the amazing work that the Bacot McCarty Foundation does throughout the Gulf Coast. There are hundreds and hundreds of kids in need here a lot have been neglected or not given the attention they deserve and this money that we have raised here tonight will help out dozens of organizations that help children.”

All of the proceeds from this runway show will go straight to help those children in need right here on the Gulf Coast.
