Red Kettle Campaign Final Push

The Salvation Army is asking for the public’s help during their final push with their holiday Red Kettle Campaign.
The iconic red kettles have been swinging outside of food stores for months but December 24th is the final day to donate. Officials want to remind the community the money they donate to the red kettle goes right back into programs offered by the Salvation Army. They do not profit from the spare change you throw in the kettles. Morgan Shiyou with Salvation Army public affairs said, “Those few pennies that you pull out of the couch cushion, whatever you have in your purse for change or whatever, just throw it in there. Every little bit helps. We have a lot of stuff coming up that we’re going to need to support the community for.”
The final day to drop some change into the red kettles is December 24th at 2 p.m. You can also text “Gulf” to 71777 to donate to the Salvation Army.
