Record-Breaking Angler Gets Paid
The Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo ended a little over two months ago, but today one fishermen finally got paid. The big prize at this year’s rodeo was 20 thousand dollars to whoever could catch a state record breaking tiger shark. Daivd Rogers reeled in a tiger shark weighing in at 390 pounds blowing the old record of 173 pounds out of the water. Rogers and his crew out of mobile know some say fishing is a lot of luck, but he tells News 25 it’s really all about preparation.
