Rain starts to collect throughout Jackson County
As rain continues to fall all over the Coast, parts of Jackson County are already starting to flood.
Rain water is beginning to hit the beach across from Fort Maurepas Park in east Ocean Springs. Nearby the park, standing water is starting to collect on roadways.
The continuing showers are creating dangerous driving conditions throughout Jackson County, as well as the entire Coast. Authorities are urging motorists to drive slow, keep your headlights on, give other vehicles more space, and keep safety first while the roads are wet.
