Quinton Tellis Due in Court Today

The man charged of burning Panola County resident Jessica Chambers to death pleads not guilty.
Quinton Tellis faces capital murder charges for Chambers’ murder two years ago. This morning he entered a not guilty plea in court. Detectives say Tellis set Chambers on fire and left her to die on a country road near Courtland.
Tellis is being held at the DeSoto County Jail where he was taken last month after being extradited from Louisiana.
He is now also charged with the first-degree murder of an international student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
