Protesters gather outside Coast Coliseum

Across the street from the Coast Coliseum protesters lined ahead of tonight’s rally.

Over a dozen protesters started gathering around 4 this afternoon. Many held signs condemning President Trump and Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith ahead of tomorrow’s runoff election.

Those protesting tell News 25 they want a better future for Mississippi and believe Mike Espy is the senator the state needs.

Police were also nearby to make sure the protesters remained safe and peaceful.
