President of the NAACP of Moss Point and Jackson County Curley Clark Live on Set

For 29 years, we have officially observed Dr. Martin Luther King Day as a federal holiday. It took about 18 years after his death to get congressional approval and President Ronald Reagan to sign it into law.
Gaining nationwide and official honor for a man who represented a movement of peace and freedom was far from easy gain.
We are joined by Curley Clark, president of the NAACP of Moss Point and Jackson County.
